Kim completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts with a Specialization in Psychology and a Minor in Visual Arts at the University of Western Ontario. Kim went on to complete the Graduate Diploma Program at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Kim is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Professional Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association. Kim has extensive experience providing Psychotherapy and Art Therapy to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families both one-on-one and in groups. Kim uses a wide range of evidence-based treatment interventions and a Client Centered Care approach to equip clients with tools to adapt and manage challenges in their lives. Kim strives to improve the quality of life and general well-being of her clients.
When she is not working as a Psychotherapist and Art Therapist, Kim focuses on creating her own artwork. Kim understands and values the benefits of engaging with art materials through the work that she does as an Art Therapist, as well as through her own practice, which she views as a form of self-care.
